HFAC hosting nationals celebration, send-off June 29

The Houston Family Arts Center will host a celebration and send-off for its nationals-bound competition dance team at 7 p.m. Friday, June 29.

Everyone is invited to get a first look at the team's award-winning routines, a sneak peek of new fall classes and see guest performances by HFAC Actors Academy teaching staff.

There will be music as well, with numbers such as "Mama, I'm a Big Girl Now," "Sing, Sing, Sing" and "The Way You Make Me Feel."

A donation of $10 will be taken at the door to help with the competitive team's trip to national competition.

Registration for fall classes and productions will open at 9 p.m.

The Houston Family Arts Center is located at 10760 Grant Road in Houston.
