Seat filled on Transportation Commission
Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Jeff Moseley to a five-year term on the Texas Transportation Commission.
Moseley, former CEO of the Greater Houston Partnership, is a consultant for Opportunity Houston. He was also a Denton County judge and executive director of the Economic Development and Tourism Department for the Office of the Governor.
Moseley is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100. He sits on the boards of the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, United Way of Greater Houston, Center for Houston's Future and the NCAA Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas.
Moseley has a bachelor's degree from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma.
The Texas Transportation Commission oversees the Texas Department of Transportation.
