Cypress Creek grad Paul Janish leads Louisville past Indianapolis
Paul Janish, 2001 Cypress Creek High School graduate, helped Louisville drop Indianapolis, 7-5, Thursday.
Janish went 1-for-4 with a run scored in the victory.
On the season, Janish is batting .245 with four home runs and nine RBIs.
He played college baseball at Rice University for three seasons, from 2002-04, before being drafted by Cincinnati in the fifth round (138th overall) of the 2004 Major League Baseball draft. He made his Major League debut May 14, 2008.
