Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Gardens offers summer symposium
Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Gardens will host a summer symposium from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 28.
Gardening experts will share tips on hardy tropical-looking plants that flourish in the heat.
A plant sale for participants begins at 8 a.m. and opens to the public at 9 a.m.
The symposium costs $70 for members and $85 for nonmembers, which includes handouts, lunch and early entrance to the plant sale.
The gardens are located at 22306 Aldine Westfield Road, Humble. For more information, call 281-443-8731.
