Cypress runners compete in Run Wild 5K

Twenty-three runners from Cypress completed the Run Wild 5K on July 4, in Houston.

The Cypress runners who participated in the race are: Diane Truong, 43 (23:35); Erica Lammie, 36 (25:44); Gabby Lammie, 15 (28:33); Robin McConaughey, 50 (29:00); Bradley Cooper, 29 (32:02); Delmi Villegas, 28 (33:14); Luis Blanco, 49 (34:08); Karen Barnhart, 47 (34:34); Tiffany Wallace, 28 (34:49); Tera Nguyen, 34 (35:04); Dora Levy, 48 (35:56); Greg Duncan, 43 (36:23); Jennifer Hernandez, 36 (36:31); Nora Cooper, 28 (36:39); Michelle Nichols, 38 (38:18); Bailey Duncan, 14 (40:31); Mark Fredenburg, 58 (41:40); Annette McDermott, 41 (41:48); Amanda Quinlan, 32 (42:53); Audrey Roeder, 21 (43:30); Kyle Seykora, 22 (43:30); Henry Hernandez, 30 (45:23); and Ahime Chazari, 29 (47:19).

A total of 1,287 runners finished the race in Uptown Park. The proceeds will benefit Special Olympics programs in Texas.

Sean Wade, of Houston, was the men's overall winner with a time of 15:38, while Megan Siebert, of Dallas, was the women's winner in 18:10.
