Two runners from Cypress complete El Scorcho 25K
Two runners from Cypress completed the El Scorcho 25K on Sunday, July 15 in Fort Worth.
Courtney McInnis, 28, completed the race in 3:07:41, and Jean Ann Carter, 32, crossed the finish line in 3:07:41.
A total of 326 runners finished the 25-kilometer race, which was held in Trinity Park. The race is an endurance run which took place at midnight.
Clay Emge of Tyler was the men’s overall winner with a time of 1:38:16, while Emily Van Dyken of Fort Worth was the winner in the women’s division in 1:57:38.
