Harris County Deputies investigate stabbing in 8300 block of Polar Ridge Lane
The Harris County Deputies are currently investigating a stabbing in the 8300 block of Polar Ridge Lane, according to a report released on Monday, July 16.
According to the release, on Monday, July 16 at approximately 1 a.m., deputies responded to a 911 call in the 8300 block of Polar Ridge Lane in Northern Harris County. Upon arrival officers found a 48-year-old white female victim deceased from multiple stab wounds.
Deputies spoke with the victim's 16-year-old daughter, according to the report, who stated that she and the victim were at home and in bed when two unidentified males forced their way into the residence and attacked the victim before fleeing the scene on foot.
The daughter of the victim was not injured, and the Homicide Unit was called to the scene to investigate the murder, according to the report approved for release by Sgt. G Pinkins.
At this time, no motive for the assault or suspect information have been determined, and the investigation is ongoing, according to the report.
