Kids 5 and older get fit at YMCA sports camp

The Cypress Creek Family YMCA will hold a gymnastics and sports club camp for youth ages 5 and older from 1-4 p.m. Aug. 13-16 at its facility located at 19915 State Highway 249 in Houston.

The camp includes skill progression on all equipment as well as conditioning activities that build strength, flexibility and endurance. Participants will experience lead-up skills and activities for sports such as volleyball, basketball, soccer and gymnastics.

The fee for the four-day camp is $69 for facility members and $99 for program members. A half-day camp is available for an added fee. The cost includes arts, crafts and snack breaks.
