Building Brains camp scheduled for August
A second Building Brains workshop will take place at the Bridgeland Community Center from Aug. 13 to Aug. 17.
A second Building Brains workshop will take place at the Bridgeland Community Center from Aug. 13 to Aug. 17.
The workshops use Lego Duplo and K'nex kits to allow children to build simple machines to help develop math and science skills and motor skills.
The morning workshop for children ages 4-5 and 6-12 will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. A second workshop for ages 6-12 will be offered from 1-4 p.m. as well.
The cost for these workshops is $175 for residents and $200 for nonresidents. An all-day workshop for ages 6-12 will be offered from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at a cost of $250 for residents and $275 for nonresidents.
Class registration and payments are due one week prior to the camp start date. Payments can be mailed to the Bridgeland Community Association, Attn: Elizabeth Dominguez, 16902 Bridgeland Landing, Cypress, TX 77433. Checks should be made to the Bridgeland Council Inc.
