Cy Creek HS grad Paul Janish and Braves beat Miami
Cy Creek High School graduate Paul Janish helped the Braves beat the Marlins, 7-1, Wednesday.
Janish went 1-for-3 with a run scored and a walk in the win
On the season, Janish is batting .152, with one RBI, in 14 games played.
After a stellar career at Cy Creek, Janish played college baseball at Rice University for three seasons. He was drafted in the fifth round (138th overall) of the 2004 Major League Baseball drafted by Cincinnati. He spent parts of five seasons in the Reds organization before making his Major League debut on May 14, 2008.
