Registration opens for Houston Juniors volleyball program

The Houston Juniors Volleyball Club 2012 Train and Play Program will be offered from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Sundays from Sept. 9 through Oct. 14, according to a press release.

The six-week week course is for girl volleyball players in grades 7-8 and will help players improve their skills and enhance competitive team interactions. Players must sign up for the position in which they wish to improve their skills.

The first hour will be dedicated to technique training; athletes are then divided by skill level and put into competitive six-on-six drills for the second hour.

Registration is by individual player only and costs $200 a player, plus a $75 non-refundable deposit for all drops. Coaches, gym rental, equipment and T-shirts are included in the fee.
