Cypress welcomes Saltgrass Steak House

Landry's Inc. opened the Saltgrass Steak House on Aug. 1 at 23952 Northwest Freeway in Cypress, the company announced in a press release.

This is Landry's 48th Saltgrass Steak House opening and its 19th location in the Houston area.

"We're blazing a trail into Houston with our 19th location in Cypress, " said General Manager Cecil Phillips. "We're proud that Saltgrass Steak House is one of the best-performing steak house concepts in the U.S., and we are delighted to add another restaurant for the local community and their families to enjoy."

Saltgrass Steak House features a menu that includes certified Angus beefsteaks, barbecue baby back ribs and Pat's rib eye. All of the steaks are chargrilled on an open flame Saltgrass style, and each is topped with fresh garlic butter and seasoned with Saltgrass-7 steak spice, according to the press release.

The restaurant makes all of its breads, dressings and soups from scratch daily.

Saltgrass serves lunch and dinner seven days a week and offers a happy hour from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Select appetizers, beer, margaritas and wines by the glass in the bar area are marked down during the happy hour.
