Suit centers on Cy-Fair elevator incident
A Houston woman is suing over claims she was injured in a Cy-Fair office building elevator.
Carmen Nunez filed a premises liability lawsuit on Aug. 2 in Harris County District Court against CBRE, Inc., Genesis Capital Partners, Transwestern Property and others.
Nunez says on Jan. 11, she sustained injuries while riding an elevator in an office building located at 20333 State Highway 249 in Cy-Fair. The suit alleges the accident happened when the elevator dropped without warning.
Nunez is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorneys Richard Grimes and Julian Fertitta III.
