Table sponsorships available for Salute to the Stars Gala

The Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF) is seeking table sponsors for the 15th annual Salute to the Stars Gala, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 18 at the Berry Center, located at 8877 Barker Cypress Road.

The black-tie event honors the foundation's 2011-2012 Spotlight Teachers while raising funds for qualified students seeking education beyond high school and funding staff development grants for CFISD. This year's event is expected to draw more than 800 community and business leaders, elected and school officials.

The 2011 gala raised more than $152,000 for CFEF grant programs and student scholarships, bringing the grand total to more than $1.6 million raised since 1998.

The Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union (CFFCU) will once again serve as the event underwriter; the Red Carpet Premiere Sponsor is Cypress-Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital; the Superintendent Table Sponsor is Bay-IBI Group Architects; and the Teacher Appreciation Sponsor is Methodist Willowbrook Hospital.

Available sponsorships include the Oscar Table ($5,000), MGM Studios Table ($3,000), Columbia Studios Table ($2,000), Paramount Studios Table ($1,500), Fox Studios Table ($1,250), Printing ($2,500) and Foundation Star ($500).
