LSC-CyFair announces L.I.F.E. lessons for September

Social media, Pocahontas and traveling to Costa Rica are some of the upcoming topics for September L.I.F.E. classes at Lone Star College-CyFair.

L.I.F.E., or Learning, Inspiration, Fellowship and Enrichment, programs are free and held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesdays in the main campus library in room 131.

Pin It with Pinterest, the first September class Sept. 5, will discuss the popular media site and its usage. Pinterest.com is an online pinboard where users "pin" links for recipes, travel spots, craft ideas and more to save and share with friends.

Learn the history and legend of Pocahontas and John Smith at the Sept. 12 class. Professor Tom Kelly will be the instructor.

Professor Sharon Bippus will lead the Creativity Unleashed class Sept. 19. She will share activities to use to boost the imagination.

Professor Ronnie Nespeca will share his stories from his trip to Costa Rica at the Imagine Costa Rica class Sept. 26. Nespeca traveled to the country in May with his kinesiology class with the biology class of Professor Clay White.
