Cy-Fair Women's Network elects officers for 2012-13

The Cy-Fair Women's Network announced its new slate of officers for 2012-13.

The new network board includes Nicole Vicha, president; Karen Monroe, president-elect; Valerie Cavenaugh, treasurer; Cindy Schoeller, secretary and Marilyn Farrell, past president.

The organization meets the first and third Wednesday of each month from 7:45-9 a.m. at La Madeleine, located at 19710 Northwest Freeway, in Houston. Each session consists of business networking and a planned program.

The network is a professional women's business organization which promotes the business and services of its members in the greater Cy-Fair area, according to the network's website.

Members develop contacts, exchange information and share their knowledge of business and personal issues.

Belonging to CFWN offers members automatic membership in The Federation of Houston Professional Women, founded in 1981. It has over 5,000 members and is one of the largest professional organizations in Houston, according to the website.
