Foundry United Methodist Church to hold annual holiday market
The Foundry United Methodist Church will host an expanded two-day Judy Dierker Holiday Market and Tea Room from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19 and Saturday, Oct. 20. This is the 12th annual presentation of the event and the first year it takes place over two days. The market is a long-standing local tradition and will be held rain or shine. Visitors will find one-of-a-kind gifts for every occasion from more than 125 vendors. The market booths will feature handcrafted items, seasonal decor, gourmet gifts, baked goods, clothing, jewelry, children's wear and toys, according to a press release. Admission to the market is free, and ample parking is available at the church's location. Breakfast, lunch and desserts will be offered at the Foundry Tea Room. There will also be other food vendors, including the BBQ Stop and the Coffee & Treat Shoppe. All proceeds from this market will benefit Cy-Hope in Cy-Fair. The church is located at 8350 Jones Road, in Houston, 1.5 blocks north of 290. For more information, call 713-937-9388 or visit www.foundrychurch.org.
