'Our Town' opens at HFAC this weekend
The Houston Family Arts Center's production of "Our Town" opens at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17.
The show runs through Sunday, Sept. 9. Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 3 p.m. Sundays. Tickets range from $14 to $20, depending on seating.
"Our Town" was written by Thornton Wilder about a fictional town in 20th century America. It follows the townspeople as they live their daily lives and experience love, death and marriage.

The Houston Family Arts Center's first production was "Liberty Revival Church" in 2006. Since then, it has grown to open its Actors Academy in 2009 and its own theater in 2010. Its 2012-13 season includes productions of "Annie," "Our Town" and "The Fiddler on the Roof."
The nonprofit organization is at 10760 Grant Road, Houston.
