Cy-Fair Houston to host annual golf tournament Sept. 24
The 2011 third place winners Keith Grothaus with Caldwell Companies, Stuart Snow with Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, Roy Sprague with Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, and Dr. Mark Henry with Cypress-Fairbanks ISD.
The Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual golf tournament Monday, Sept. 24, at the Longwood Golf Club.
The FORE Cy-Fair golf tournament and fundraiser is open to the public, and will feature a scramble-style format, according to the Chamber of Commerce website. A portion of the fundraiser proceeds will benefit the Adam J. Skinner Memorial Scholarship of the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation.
Registration will open 9:30 a.m., and participants can join in a putting competition prior to the start of the tournament. The scramble tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m.
An awards banquet, dinner and raffle will begin 5 p.m. Ball-drop raffle tickets are available for $10 through the chamber office, and purchasers do not need to be present at the drawing in order to win.
Sponsorship opportunities are available from $500 to $7,500, according to the site. Non-golfers can attend the dinner and raffle for $25.
The Longwood Golf Club is located at 13300 Longwood Trace, Cypress.
