Cypress Falls girls volleybal team begins season with mixed results
The Cypress Falls girls volleyball team began its 2012 season with mixed results, winning three of the first four matches before losing three in a row.
A recent victory against Klein Collins evened the record at 4-4.
Next up for the Eagles is a 4 p.m. visit Thursday, Aug. 23 for the Spring Branch Tournament at Terry, then traveling the next day to Langham Creek. They return home Tuesday, Aug. 28 to face Cy-Fair, before going Wednesday, Sept. 5 to Cypress Springs. A 6 p.m. home date Friday, Sept. 7 with Cypress Ranch, and a Tuesday, Sept. 11 visit to Cypress Woods is followed by a 4:30 p.m. home match Friday, Sept. 14 against Cypress Lakes.
The final stretch of the season begins Tuesday, Sept. 18 at Cypress Creek, before home games Tuesday, Sept. 25 vs. Cy-Ridge, and Friday, Sept. 28 with Langham Creek. Road and home matches alternate for the rest of the schedule, starting with a Tuesday, Oct. 2 game at Cy-Fair, followed by a 5 p.m. visit Friday, Oct. 5 by Cypress Springs, and a 6 p.m. trip Tuesday, Oct. 9 to Cypress Ranch. A Friday, Oct. 12 home match with Cy-Woods is next, followed by a 6 p.m. trip Tuesday, Oct. 16 to Cypress Lakes, a 6 p.m. home finale Friday, Oct. 19 against Cypress Creek, and a final trip Tuesday, Oct. 23 to Jersey Village.
