Cy-Fair girls volleyball season continues
The Cy-Fair girls volleyball team began its 2012 season successfully, winning seven of its first nine matches including an opening-season victory Aug. 14 against Cinco Ranch, 3-2.
Coming off three consecutive victories, the Bobcats travel on Tuesday, Aug. 28 to Cypress Falls, before returning home for a 5 p.m. match Wednesday, Sept. 5 against Langham Creek. A pair of 5 p.m. road games follow Friday, Sept. 7 against Cy Ridge, and Tuesday, Sept. 11 at Cypress Springs.
The second half of the season begins with a 5 p.m. contest at Cy-Woods on Tuesday, Sept. 18, followed by 6 p.m. visits Friday, Sept. 21 from Cypress Lakes, and Tuesday, Sept. 25 by Cypress Creek. Next is a 5 p.m. trip Friday, Sept. 28 to Jersey Village, before returning home Tuesday, Oct. 2 to face Cypress Falls. A 5 p.m. trip Friday, Oct. 5 to Langham Creek precedes a final three-game homestand before the regular-season finale at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 at Cypress Lakes.
