High school football: Klein Oak-Langham Creek, preview
The Langham Creek High School football team will begin its 2012 football season with a road game against Klein Oak at Klein Memorial Stadium on Friday, Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. The Lobos reached the playoffs last year and fell 48-47 to Alief Taylor. They are led by head coach Todd Thompson. Klein Oak finished 9-4 last season. The Panthers are led by head coach David Smith. Langham Creek will play at Cy Woods on Friday, Sept. 14 and host Cy-Fair on Friday, Sept. 21. Both games begin at 7 p.m. Klein Oak will play against Cy Creek on Friday, Sept. 7 and will play at Kingwood on Friday, Sept. 15. Both games are slated for 7 p.m. The Panthers play host to Delaney on Saturday, Sept. 22 in a 4 p.m. tilt.
