Cypress runner completes Rock 'n' Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon
David Nguyen, 28, of Cypress completed the Rock 'n' Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon in 2:55:48 on Sept. 2 in Virginia.
He was among 6,925 runners who finished the 13.1-mile race, which started at The Virginia Beach Convention Center, and ended at the Virginia Beach Boardwalk.
Nicholas Kurgat was the men's overall winner with a time of 1:04:45. Rei Ohara won the women's division in 1:13:50.
