Houston Cypress Woods remains unbeaten in girls volleyball with win over Houston Cypress Falls
Houston Cypress Woods remains unbeaten in district play with a three-game win over Houston Cypress Falls in a girls volleyball match Sept. 11.
The Wildcats won the home district match 25-13, 25-15 and 25-20. They are 26-2 overall and 6-0 in the district. The Golden Eagles are now 11-16 overall and 3-3 in district action.
Marisa Guzman led Cypress Woods with 12 kills. Patricia Van Pelt hammered 12 kills for Cypress Falls.
The Wildcats will play at Langham Creek on Friday, Sept. 14 and host Cy-Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 18. They will then travel to Cy-Springs on Friday, Sept. 21. All three matches will begin at 5 p.m.
The Golden Eagles will take on Cy Lakes at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14 and Cy-Creek at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18. They will then play Cy-Ridge at home at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25.
