Cy-Fair Mobility Forum scheduled for Nov. 1
Texas Department of Transportation Director Phil Wilson will deliver the keynote address at the Cy-Fair Mobility Forum on Thursday, Nov. 1.
Leslie Martone, president of the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce, said one of the obstacles in a developing community is mobility.
"It is not hard to figure out why so many businesses and families have chosen to call Cy-Fair home," she said in a press release. "This is a prosperous community that provides an outstanding quality of life. Of course, with the growth comes challenges and that is what we are seeing not only in U.S. 290, but additionally many intersections and main streets become crowded during peak times of the day and year."
"The 2012 Mobility Forum: Trains, Planes and Automobiles" will begin at 10:30 a.m., with lunch and the keynote address to follow at noon. It will be held at the Berry Center, located at 8877 Barker Cypress.
Individual tickets are $60, and tables for 10 guests are available for $600 to $2,500. The deadline for registration is Monday, Oct. 29.
