High school football: Fort Bend Christian 49, Cypress Christian 13
The visiting Fort Bend Christian Eagles defeated Cypress Christian in varsity football on Friday, Sept. 21.
Kellen Kacal led the Eagles' ground attack, gaining 118 yards and scoring a touchdown. Kacal also caught passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns, while Jack Thomas scored another TD while hauling in passes for 124 yards. Tate Sablatura added three field goals in the victory.
Up next, Fort Bend Christian (3-0) is at Lutheran South Academy on Friday, Sept. 28. Cypress Christian (1-3) will next play at Shiner St. Paul Catholic on Friday, Sept. 28.
