TexanPlus HMO to hold job, volunteer fair Nov. 16
TexanPlus HMO will hold a job and volunteer fair from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16 at the Langham Creek Family YMCA.
Admission is free and open to senior workers in the Houston area.
The purpose of the fair is to help seniors find paid positions and volunteer work to keep them financially and socially fit into their later years.
Those who are experienced professionals are welcome to attend to connect with companies and organizations offering full-time, part-time, seasonal and volunteer positions. Wearing professional attire is suggested. National employers will be among the vendors.
The Langham Creek Family YMCA is at 16725 Longenbaugh Drive, Houston.
