Student aims to find antidote to global woes
Cypress Lakes High School junior Myy Nguyen was a member of the school’s Texas Science Olympiad state-qualifying team in 2012. She also made the honor roll during her sophomore year and the Distinguished Honor Roll during her freshman year. Her life’s quest is for a “beneficial antidote to the world’s suffering.” Nguyen hopes her acts of kindness will help transform the world into a better place.

FAVORITE WEBSITE: www.edmodo.com. “It’s a website that connects students with educators in an almost informal way. The environment allows students to ask questions, and educators can reply to them immediately.”
FAVORITE MOVIE: “ ‘Inception.’ It’s a movie directed by a brilliant director and consists of an amazing cast that is passionate about the plot of the movie.”
AMBITION: “I hope to change the world through acts of kindness and the invention of a beneficial antidote to the world’s suffering. These have been my dreams since I was a child.”
