Cy-Fair ISD students to be published in short story anthology

The stories of five Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District students will be published in the anthology "I-Write: Short Stories By Kids, For Kids."

The works of Emily Green, Lowery Elementary School; Alexis Moscariello, Swenke Elementary School; Sarah Hart, Adam Elementary School; Megan Taylor, Smith Middle School; and Sarah Young, Cy-Fair High School, were chosen by Texas-based literacy foundation Read3Zero to be included in the anthology, according to a CFISD press release.

The students will be signing copies of the book at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 at Houston Public Library Downtown Central, 500 McKinney St. An awards ceremony will follow.
