Taylor Morrison presents contest winner with new $200K home

Home building and real estate company Taylor Morrison presented Atlanta native Mark Roberson with a new $200,000 home in the area Thursday, Nov. 15.

Roberson beat out 1.1 million other entries to win the prize of Taylor Morrison's 2012 Dream Home Giveaway. Roberson received the keys to the home and participated in a ribbon cutting, walk-through and media session and received gifts from the company.

According to a press release, Roberson, who was two weeks away from his last unemployment check, entered the contest in August. In October, he and his wife were taken to California to visit the Innoventions Dream Home exhibit, which inspired the giveaway.

"It all still seems like a dream," Roberson said in the release. "This has been an unforgettable few months for us."

The home is in Taylor Morrison's Park Creek community in Cypress.
