Cy Falls grad Goodwin plays in University of North Texas loss
Cy Falls High School graduate Loryn Goodwin played for University of North Texas in a 67-63 loss at home against Southern Methodist University on Nov. 15 at Moody Coliseum in Dallas, according to University of North Texas' website.
The University of North Texas freshman guard recorded one steal for the Scrappy, who are 0-2 on the season.
University of North Texas' next game is 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 against Alabama.
Goodwin is a freshman guard for the University of North Texas. She is a 2012 graduate of Cypress Falls High School, where her team made a run to the 5A State Semifinals. She was named District 17-5A MVP and an All-State selection by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches and the Texas Girls Coaches Association. Goodwin is from Houston and is the daughter of Trampas and Laura Goodwin.
