Jersey Village grad Salazar plays in McMurry loss
Jersey Village High School graduate Tory Salazar contributed three points in McMurry University's 65-46 loss to Colorado Mines Saturday, Nov. 17 at Wichita Falls, according to McMurry's website.
The junior guard also recorded three rebounds, two assists and a steal for the War Hawks, who are 0-4 on the season. The team's next game is 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23 on the road against West Texas A&M University.
Salazar is a 2010 graduate of Jersey Village, where she was named team captain and first-team all-district as a senior. The accounting major is from Houston and is the daughter of David and Olga Salazar.
