Cy Woods grad Garcia helps Southwestern to victory

Cy Woods High School graduate Audrey Garcia contributed five points in an 83-69 win by Southwestern University (Texas) over Texas Lutheran Saturday, Nov. 17 at Georgetown, according to Southwestern's website.

The freshman guard also recorded two rebounds, an assist and one block for the Pirates, who improved to 2-0 on the season. Southwestern's next game is at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20 on the road against Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Garcia is a 2012 graduate of Cy Woods, where she earned a letter in soccer, two in track and field, two in cross country and three in basketball for the Wildcats. The psychology major is from Cypress and is the daughter of Ruben and Holly Garcia.
