Master class with Dave Clemmons to be held Dec. 2 at Houston Family Arts Center
New York City casting director Dave Clemmons will hold a master class from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 at Houston Family Arts Center.
Participants will perform a song or monologue to gain professional direction and feedback.
Clemmons has cast more than 100 Broadway, off-Broadway, national touring and regional productions.
According to a center release, Clemmons played a role in identifying the talents of some of today's stage stars early in their careers, including Jonathan Groff ("Spring Awakening"), Eden Espinosa ("Wicked," "Rent") and Annaleigh Ashford ("Wicked," "Legally Blonde").
The class costs $75 for auditioning participants and $25 for non-auditioning participants.
Acceptance is on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to the first 12 registrants ages 10 and older.
All participants will observe and are encouraged to take an active part in the sessions.
