Cy Falls grad Goodwin plays in North Texas loss
Cy Falls High School graduate Loryn Goodwin scored 16 points but her University of North Texas women's basketball team lost 71-66 at home to Arizona Wednesday, Nov. 28 at The Super Pit in Denton, according to the North Texas website.
Goodwin also recorded four rebounds, two assists and six steals for North Texas, which is 1-5 on the season.
Goodwin is a freshman guard at North Texas. She is a 2012 graduate of Cy Falls High School, where her team made a run to the 5A State Semifinals. She was named District 17-5A MVP and an All-State selection by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches and the Texas Girls Coaches Association. Goodwin is from Houston and is the daughter of Trampas and Laura Goodwin.
