Where are the lowest gas prices in Cypress?
Gas prices in and around Cypress were lower than the averages for Houston and the country as a whole, according to data from the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com.
Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 36 gas stations in and around Cypress.
As of Saturday, Dec. 15, the average price of regular unleaded gas in Cypress was $3 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Houston average at $3.02, the state average at $3.02 and the nationwide average at $3.27.
The least expensive gas in Cypress was reported to be $2.89 for a gallon of regular unleaded, which gasbuddy.com contributors logged at H-E-B, 28570 US-290.
A gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas in the area to be $3.19 at Shell, 15038 Mason Road.
Other local stations included in the survey were Conoco, 14110 Telge Road; Shell, 16150 Spring Cypress Road; Shell, 11911 Barker Cypress Road; Shell, 14435 Telge Road; Valero, 16206 Spring Cypress Road; Chevron, 19140 FM-529; Shell, 18002 Huffmeister Road; and Exxon, 18001 FM-529.
GasBuddy.com, owned by GasBuddy Organization Inc., offers local gas pricing information to its visitors. The prices, based on the cost of regular unleaded gas, are submitted by the site's contributors.
The site's stated mission is "to serve the public by providing a real time gas prices forum so that consumers can have access to the information necessary to locate the lowest fuel prices available."
