Cy Falls grad Ellis scores in Liberty win
Cy Falls High School graduate Sadalia Ellis contributed 10 points in Liberty University's 95-39 home win over Virginia Union Monday, Dec. 17, at Vines Center in Lynchburg, the Liberty website said.
The freshman guard also recorded an assist and two steals for the Flames, who improved to 8-4 on the season. Liberty's next game is 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20 at Virginia Commonwealth.
Ellis is a 2012 graduate of Cy Falls High School, where the team posted a 37-3 record and reached the Texas Class 5A state semifinals for the first time in program history. The exercise science major is from Houston and is the daughter of Moses Ellis and Zuhura Gober.
