Cy Falls thespians honored for performances

On February 8th, the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District presented "Outstanding Achievement Awards" to several Cypress Falls students for their performances at the Texas State Thespian Convention in Corpus Christi in November.
These Golden Eagle theatre students advanced to the Thespian Festival June 21-26 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and were recognized by their School Board for their work.
The week long Thespian Festival is the best of high school theatre in the country. The Thespian Festival features more than fifty productions presented by schools from throughout North America and abroad. It also offers a full schedule of workshops presented by theatre professionals, individual performance events, a student playwriting program, opportunities to audition for college and university representatives as well as scholarships, and a chance to meet 2,000 or so other Thespians.
