Merche Restaurant plans special New Year's Eve menu
Merche Restaurant is planning a special New Year's Eve dinner from 4-11 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31.
The first course of the meal will be creamy mushroom soup garnished with truffle oil.
The second course will feature the choice of butternut squash ravioli pasta with jumbo shrimp and sage beurre blanc sauce; or brie cheese croute over baby mixed greens, fresh raspberries and tarragon walnut vinaigrette.
For the third course, guests will have the choice of a grilled 8-ounce filet mignon topped with lobster meat and bearnaise sauce over horserasish mashed potatoes with mustard leaves; or pan seared 8-ounce fresh wild salmon filet with jumbo lump crab meat and champagne dill sauce over grana padano asparagus risotto.
Dessert will include raspberry mousse, amaretto tiramisu and grand marnier chocolate cake.
The wine list includes 2002 Louis Roederer Cristal for $269, Moet and Chandon Imperial for $49, Lamarca Prosecco for $25 and Segura Viudas Brut Reserva Cava for $22.
