Cypress Creek High School will launch a Wall of Fame this Spring to honor the school's distinguished graduates.

The school's nomination committee is currently accepting nominations. Nominees will be considered from the original class of 1976-77 up to recent graduates for significant contributions in a variety of fields, including athletics, performing and visual arts, business and industry, politics and government, health and science, medicine, research and development and technology. Nominations must be submitted to the school by Friday, Jan. 11, 2013. Final selections will be formally inducted at a ceremony scheduled Friday, March 22, 2013 at Cypress Creek High School.

Cypress Creek will continue to seek new nomination on a yearly basis.

"The Wall of Fame will provide a visual reminder of quality role models for current students to appreciate," said Cypress Creek High School Principal Sandy Trujillo. "I am excited to be a part of such an important endeavor as we work to identify the outstanding individuals who have made their mark in the world."

Nomination forms are available online at www.schools.cfisd.net/cycreek/index.html.

Completed forms should be mailed to Jim Wells, Cypress Creek Hall of Fame Project, P.O. Box 1683, Cypress.
