Lone Star College opens new student orientation registration

Registration is under way for Lone Star College's new student orientation classes.

According to a press release, "New student orientation is required for all first-time in college students. These programs include advising sessions and campus tours. New student orientations are free however, students must register for orientation ahead of time. Please note that due to space restrictions, these programs are for new students only. Upcoming orientation dates and times: Friday, Jan. 4 - 3 p.m.; Monday, Jan. 7 - 10 a.m.; Monday, Jan. 7 - 3 p.m.; Tuesday, Jan. 8 - 10 a.m.; Tuesday, Jan. 8 - 3 p.m.; Wednesday, Jan. 9 - 10 a.m.; Wednesday, Jan. 9 - 3 p.m.; Thursday, Jan. 10 - 10 a.m.; Thursday, Jan. 10 - 3 p.m.; Friday, Jan. 11 - 10 a.m.; Friday, Jan. 11 - 3 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 12 - 10 a.m."

Before registering for orientation, students must have completed the online portion of the orientation, submitted transcripts and completed placement testing. Online orientation can be completed at www.atschoolorientation.net.
