The writing's on wall: Young artist excels

Longoria joined nine fellow emerging artists from Houston-area high schools in the “Via Apprendista” section, each creating a 6-by-6-foot street art mural at the festival. While talking about her accomplishments, Longoria adds, “I’ve been able to discover who I am as an artist and as a person.”

Ambition: “My ambition is to create art and edit my way up through the film business, so that I may one day inspire others to do what their imagination tells them to. I hope that I can intermingle my skills as an artist with my newly found love for film and editing, so that I can be an icon for the pure love of art.”
