Grandfather inspires baseball standout
A: Michael Phelps because he trains hard, and he’s a winner. He gives everything back to God and does what it takes. He’s got a good personality. He’s a fun guy, very happy, helps other people.
Q: Who inspires you the most?
A: My grandpa. He has cancer, but he’s the happiest person in the world. Never takes a smile off his face, tells jokes all the time. You’d never know he had cancer.
Q: Do you plan on playing baseball in college?
A: I would love to play. I don’t have any offers yet, but I’m hoping to get some this spring.
Q: What are your goals this season?
A: I’d like to win district and do what I can to help my team make the playoffs and hopefully make a run at state.
