Cy Woods grad Garcia plays in Southwestern loss to Washington
Audrey Garcia, a graduate of Cy Woods High School, is a freshman guard for the Southwestern University women's basketball team.
Cy Woods High School graduate Audrey Garcia contributed 12 points in Southwestern University (Texas)'s 82-73 loss to Washington University (Missouri) on Sunday, Dec. 30 at the WU Field House in St. Louis, the Southwestern University website reported.
The Southwestern University freshman guard also recorded three rebounds, two assists and two steals for the Pirates, who are 8-4 on the season.
Southwestern University's next game is at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4 against Colorado College.
Garcia is a 2012 graduate of Cy Woods High School, where she earned a letter in soccer, two in track and field, two in cross country and three in basketball for the Wildcats. The psychology major is from Cypress and is the daughter of Ruben and Holly Garcia.
