Cy Ridge grad Swannegan contributes to Tulsa victory
Cy Ridge High School graduate Brandon Swannegan scored two points as the University of Tulsa won 63-57 at home over Buffalo Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Reynolds Center in Tulsa, the team's website reported.
Swannegan also recorded four rebounds and a block for the Golden Hurricanes, who improved to 8-6 on the season.
Tulsa's next game is at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 on the road against SMU.
Swannegan is a freshman forward for University of Tulsa. He is a 2012 graduate of Cy Ridge High School, where he was a two-year letter winner and starter, with a per-game average of 16 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks. The mechanical engineering major is from Houston and is the son of Clarence Swannegan and Daisy Taylor.
