Actors Academy to hold auditions beginning Jan. 14 for Shakespeare play

The Houston Family Arts Center's Actors Academy will hold auditions beginning Monday, Jan. 14 for performances of "Much Ado About Nothing."

According to an announcement from the Actors Academy, the Shakespeare program is for teens. This spring, Shakespeare's most popular comedy, "Much Ado About Nothing," will be set in New Orleans at Mardi Gras. Classes begin the week of Jan. 14. Auditions for specific roles within the cast will be held the first week of class.

Auditions and classes will be held at 10760 Grant Road in Houston.
