Cy Woods grad Garcia contributes to Southwestern win

Cy Woods High School graduate Audrey Garcia scored 12 points as Southwestern University won 88-58 at home Friday, Jan. 4, over Colorado College at Georgetown, the Southwestern website reported.

Garcia also recorded one rebound, two assists and a pair of steals for the Pirates, who improved to 10-4 on the season.

Garcia is a freshman guard for Southwestern University (Texas). She is a 2012 graduate of Cy Woods High School, where she earned a letter in soccer, two in track and field, two in cross country and three in basketball for the Wildcats. The psychology major is from Cypress and is the daughter of Ruben and Holly Garcia.
