Houston Family Arts Center holding auditions Feb. 9

The Houston Family Arts Center is hosting auditions from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 for its upcoming performances of "Leaving Iowa."

According to a press release from the Houston Family Arts Center, "Auditions will consist of a one-minute memorized comedic monologue. To be fair to other actors who are auditioning, we ask that you limit your monologue to one minute. Please bring a photo and resume, stapled back-to-back."

An advance appointment is required to audition.

Callbacks are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10.

The show runs Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m. from Friday, April 5 to Sunday, April 21 on the HFAC Garza Main Stage.

The Houston Family Arts Center is at 10760 Grant Road, in Houston.
