10-Minute New Play Festival set for Jan. 18-20

The Houston Family Arts Center will present the 10-Minute New Play Festival on Friday, Jan. 18, Saturday, Jan. 19 and Sunday, Jan. 20.

Performances will start at 8 p.m. Jan. 18 and Jan. 19 and at 3 p.m. Jan. 20.

According to a press release from Houston Family Arts Center, "The event is an ideal opportunity for writers to experience the entire process from words on a page to words on a stage, and for patrons to be the first to see these new works."

"We found 10 exciting playwrights and 19 versatile actors who will present these family-friendly stories," said Lisa Garza, HFAC's assistant artistic director, in the release.

Tickets are $10.

The plays will be performed on the HFAC Garza Main Stage, 10760 Grant Road, Houston.
