Salute to Our Heroes event scheduled for Feb. 9

The Cy-Fair Educational Foundation has scheduled its annual Salute to Our Heroes event for 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9.

According to a Cy-Fair Educational Foundation release, "Salute to Our Heroes honors the brave men and women who have served to preserve our freedom and liberty. Proceeds from this event will go to an endowment in the memory of fallen soldiers, enabling graduating students from Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District to attend college."

The event will take place at Omni Hotel Westside Houston, 13210 Katy Freeway, Cypress.

Cost to attend the event is $75 for individuals and $50 for veterans.
